David A. Vogel, MBA

Senior Vice President
Strategy Operations & Technology

David Vogel is an accomplished, driven, business growth and strategy leader with extensive financial skills, strong clinical management knowledge, and extensive relationships in the financial, health care, and pharmacy industries.

David directed financial operations for a $350 million unit at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. He then transitioned to manage mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, and procurement for international consulting firm, Drake Beam Morin, Inc.’s Asia Pacific market. While traveling extensively in the Pacific Rim, he was instrumental in analyzing and negotiating contracts for services and acquisitions throughout this market and drove a substantial direct financial impact to the company.

David moved into a pharmacy-related industry in 2004 when he joined Curascript (subsequently acquired by Express Scripts, which was then acquired by Cigna) to run the analytics and reporting department. Over the course of the next ten years, David worked to create the framework for a patient behavioral model, built and managed new product development for Express Script’s specialty pharmacy strategy and engaged managed care organizations to promote product sales.

David subsequently spent the next four years a pharmacy consulting company commercializing specialty pharmacy products, building specialty pharmacies, and developing overarching strategies for manufactures, hubs, pharmacies, and health systems.

David was then approached to lead and build an independent specialty pharmacy in Pennsylvania. David applied strategies to differentiate, develop, and grow this pharmacy from the ground up, and this pharmacy realized a steep growth in regional business, significant development of operational capabilities, and the incorporation of a unique model focus on the independent retail pharmacy market.

Having worked with thousands of doctors, clinicians, and pharmacists—in addition to corporate executives at dozens of Fortune 500 Companies throughout his career—David has led companies in developing strategies, programs, and processes that have generated millions of dollars in annual revenue and helped drive organizational performance. To do this, he has utilized a solutions-based, consultative approach to cultivate key business strategies. He has identified and penetrated new markets, and advanced company and client teams to deliver strong financial results throughout foreign and domestic competitive regions.

David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Webber International University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University.
